Does Sin Paralyze You? How Can You Find True Joy?

"With great shrieks, evil spirits came out of many, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. So there was great joy in the city." Acts 8: 7-8

There is sin and evil within us all. For some we are protected by the blood of Christ. For many they are filled with these spirits and demons of alcoholism, adultry, materialism, criticalness, drug abuse, worldliness...you name it. They are paralyzed and crippled and cannot even see it.Are you aware of these people? Do you see them and share the word with them? Please keep in mind verse 8..."So there was great joy in that city."Why? Because those spirits and demons were removed from their bodies as they were cleansed by the blood of Jesus.How are you paralyzed or crippled? Is it fear? Is it sin?What can you do to help rid yourself of these strongholds?Giving up something is inevidetable. Would you give up something you enjoy in order to see the glory and grace of God revealed?Pray that those things that seem to satify you now can be lifted to reveal to you what true happiness and true joy is.Ask the Lord to come into your heart and ask Him to lead you where he would. God has an awesome plan for you if you allow Him to use you appropriately.Will it be great all the time...NO! But in those times is where one finds the peace that surpasses all understanding. And then you grow!!
