The Summer Goings on of The Harris Fam

Well, it has been a while since my last post...BUSY BUSY BUSY!!! Since then- Tee Ball is over, Walker has started playing Hockey and Sydney gymnastics, Jackson is preparing to be registered for Fall Ball (Coach's Pitch Baseball) and Lisa has turned one year older with a surprise party given by my darling husband. Sydney has caught the entrepreneurial spirit and is trying to develop her own dog boarding and sitting service...she has had one client so far three times...her Aunt Tracie!! Sydney's really taking it serious! The playroom still needs paint and a stage and of course a few shelves, the bathroom has complete wallpaper but not boarder...3/4 of the way complete with bead board but we had a confusing corner piece to deal with. My my my...summer....isn't it suppose to be down time? Well not this summer...Mike served as a follow-up coordinator, with me as his trusty assistant for the very well publicized Greg Laurie Crusade, that had a tremendous and powerful outcome. The kids have attended not one but two sessions of runner's camp and a VBS...plus we have visited the dentist about four times already!!! The pool has been fun and it is the first year the boys have swam without any flotation devices...created to look like Spiderman, the super hero, they took that idea serious last year!!! I do enjoy summer and all the things that come with it. We are looking forward to VBS beginning soon at our church (7/22-27...6:30-8:30). Both Jackson & Sydney will be a part of the Praise Team singing the fun songs on stage! That should be a hoot. The kids have found a new favorite music CD...Toby Mac, all I can say it...."Whoopsie Daisy...call me crazy..." That's right!!! It is a rappin' CD with very VERY upbeat songs...it'll get your head boppin' for sure!! So many things to catch up on and so very little time to take to do it. I'll be posting more in the coming days.
