Hey Mom That was FUN!!!!

Nothing could have made my heart so happy than to hear those words come out of my children's mouth today!!!1 OH God is so good!!! I have long feared that my excitement for this year would too much for the kids to handle or want to handle!! It worked....Fun is good!!! And they learned something too!!!! We started out with Breakfast and a book "Little Pilgrims Progress"..they couldn't get enough, but we have to wait to see what happens with Christian while on his journey for tomorrow...After that is of to their rooms to tidy up their rooms and themself. A change of clothes, some brushed teeth...ah the smell of fresh clean breathe!!! The unbrushed is unmentionable...so I won't!! Time for morning chores...today is Monday and what does that mean....It's "MAIN ROOM MONDAY"....YAY!!!! Family room and kitchen day..they did well! Onto some geography!!! I turned Walker's head into a globe and taught North East West and South...they totally got it...That's right they'll be smarter than I one day...BUT NEVER AS WISE!!! Then the boys split...Walker for Art and Jackson for phonics. Sydney began the dreaded Math...all I asked is that she "FAKES IT TIL SHE MAKES IT" If she pretends to be joyful then maybe true joy will come!!! Oh I prayed...and guess what!!! You guessed it...God is good and put that joy right where it belonged!!! She amazed at what I asked her to do but even more amazed by the things I didn't ask her to do!!! I think I won her over with that part!!! She then concentrated on her vocabulary...a long list of Mega Words!! Ordered a small list in alphabetically and completed it in record time!!! Even she was stunned!! Grammar....I have been waiting and waiting for this...it's a brand new Grammar Curriculum called "ANALYTICAL GRAMMAR" Only 11 weeks long. I can then move her up to the next level or wait until next year!!! Haven't decided yet. Grammar was always my favorite!!! She completed all her work in record time....Ready for this she even did extra credit work on her own accord..not even kiddin'...she totally did!!! Meanwhile the boys finished their centers and Jackson read a book to Walker...How great is that. Then they played a math game together and loved it!!! After that they put together a floor puzzle of the world and we all reviewed our geography. Lunch is served and our school day was done!!!! Oh I love Jesus for qualifying me when I know I am soooo not!!! If I were qualified though...how could he get the glory? I'll try to keep you posted on the days ahead. Keep praying for us!!!
