Consulting Man is Unnecessary

Galations 1 & 2
1:10 Paul ask us to evaluate exactly who it is we are trying to please. Id it your friends, family, church members or leaders, neighbors, acquaintances or are you truly trying to please God? Servants of Christ are the only ones with the ability to please God. Do you sometimes mess up and find yourself too worried or concerned with what others may think or say? Absolutely!! It's because the "people" you desire to please are right there in front of you. You see them, talk to them and get quick clear rebuttals. The thing is this-God allows us to see Him as well. If you call upon his name and read his word he directs you and answers you. What are you feeding yourself? Is it the word or world?1:15-16 Paul clearly heard and understood Goads call. He knew he had been set apart and given a purpose by the grace of God. God set out a vision for Paul. Consulting man was unnecessary! Christ had been revealed in him and worked through him. Do you ever feel as though a clear vision and directive has been given to you? You're ready to follow through as God had led. But just to make sure you consult with someone in case you might be "doctrinally off". In your attempt to make sure you're right, do you find yourself halted in continuing and following through because of what they think may be a better idea? Or are you encouraged with confidence to move ahead in the plans God gave you? Who is man to question what God laid upon YOUR heart!!?1:24 God gave you a vision or assignment in order that he might be glorified. He uses you as an instrument. Because of you God will be praised. If pleasing God is the motive, goal and intention He is sure to bless your efforts!! Satan will always lurk around, using the most worthy and dedicated Christ Followers to slip in a little word of discouragement here and there to throw you off track.2:9 When your gifts and talents are truly used for the building up of the body, leaders will recognize it and fellowships can be made. Unification and growth can occur when you are using our gifts in the manner pleasing to God. Sometimes it can lead somewhere else. Sometimes great leaders, those we love, admire and look to for wisdom and encouragement can fall into the sin of hypocrisy, jealousy, gossip or bitterness. You can see it by they way in which they interact with you and others. As a woman the first thing you do is talk it over with someone else. You may be fearful of the response if they are in fact confronted or you may think you are wrong in your thinking. However, if you are a mature Christian, the discernment is there in your spirit to tell you what's right or wrong. Paul says when he saw Peter acing in sin, namely hypocrisy, he opposed him...FACE TO FACE!! If you see our friends or leaders plainly in the worng. Paul says confronting them is the best thing to do. If you don't confront them personally, you may easily find yourself in sin as well...hyprocrisy and gossip. Sometimes confronting in front of others may be appropriate if at first approach they did not respond Christian humility.2:17-20 as Christ Followers we will mess up every now and again. Is it OK-NO. But God understands our weakness and tempatation. The reason why Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day was because we are fallible and imperfect. Following the law would be impossible if it was up to us to do so in order to be saved. Christ came that you will live by faith in Him and that through him all things will work out for his glorification. Thank God for his grace when we fail. Thank God for his grace when we find that confronting someone, when they have fallen short, may be the right action to take.Lord, I pray you to be our sustainer, our courage and our confidence builder to follow your directions and do what is necessary to remove any sin within us or to confront someone who stepped away from pleasing you. In Jesus Name...Amen!
